Prerequisites:

All breeds are welcome to take part. Naughty dogs very welcome.

For this Level 2 course, your dog needs to be confident in retrieving a variety of objects to hand, stay around distractions, stop at a distance of 5 meters and recognise the scent of aniseed.

Your dog needs to be able to train off-lead in this class, (it's a secure indoor arena), and focus on you in a space shared with other people and dogs.

As a handler, you need to know how to use a food lure and a clicker.

If you don't think you and your dog can do the above yet, check out the Foundations or Level 1 course or drop me an email to info@synchrodog.co.uk so we can arrange 1-1 support for you before the next enrolment.

Aleksandra Borawska

Hi, I'm Aleks!

I help people with crazy, lovable, sassy young spaniels to build a happy life together.

I support them in learning the skills they need to be able to bring their dog anywhere with them and have wonderful adventures together.

I help them decipher their adolescent spaniel, discover how to harness their talents and create a true partnership.

I am a co-founder of Scurry Dog, a dog sport inspired by spaniels and developed for all active pets who want to play gundog games without bangs, guns and birds.

I'm an accredited dog training instructor with IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers), a former Mantrailing UK instructor and a UK College of Scent Dogs instructor.

I've got 11 years of intensive practical experience in training and behaviour modification, with thousands of happy clients and successful behaviour modification programmes.

My life is all about dogs, voracious learning, training projects and outdoor adventures. Whenever possible, shared with friends and their dogs.

I live in the breath-taking Afan Valley in South Wales with my 5 dogs, including a working Cocker, Springer Spaniel, a Labrador Retriever, a Collie mix and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. We train and compete in several dog disciplines, including Scurry Dog, scent detection, competition obedience, working gundog tests and GRC/Canine Athletics. In winter, during the shooting season, we're part of the beating team on two local shoots.
